Easy to install

This has to be removed before the new cover can be installed.
After you have removed the cover after removing the old cover, you can use a flathead for prying the four main attachment clips from the driver side of fob assembly. These are marked with red on the image below. Also note the tabs that locate slots, which are yellow, that need to be disconnected in addition.
After taking the battery off, replace it with a brand new 3 volt coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should face the opening on the fob, and the "side that is "-" side should face the rubber buttons.
Reattach the passenger-side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you've completed this, put the fob for the driver side back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly the parking lights will be on and the doors will automatically shut.
